This week we have been enjoying the story What the Ladybird Heard. Our first session in drawing club was to draw the characters Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len.

Our school Overchurch Infants are so lucky to have received a huge donation for our Eco-Schools England project from the very generous Carr Farm Garden Centre! We are absolutely thrilled and so grateful for your support 💚

A HUGE thank you to Sgt. G for visiting us today! The children loved learning about your job and seeing photos of your experiences in the Army.

The children had a blast playing police officers in our classroom police station, complete with a jail and fingerprinting! They are learning about everyday heroes and exploring how police keep us safe. So much imagination and fun!

We had a visit from the police with their police dog Buddy yesterday. The children learnt all about Buddy and all the important work he does helping people. He also found something the police officers had hidden in the hall!

Thank you to the wonderful Friends Of Overchurch Infant School for booking ‘The Little Princess’ performance!

We have been using positional language exploring maps in @Overchurchmaths. The children have enjoyed creating their own maps for their zoos. #Overchurchgeography

A big thank you to Evie’s mummy in class 1 for coming into school to talk to us all about how dentists help keep people’s teeth healthy and what we can do at home to keep our teeth healthy too. We really enjoyed brushing Pete the dragons teeth too!

Class 2 loved designing, making, eating and evaluating their delicious fruit kebabs today. They showed us super chopping skills! #OverchurchDT
