Today we celebrated our patronal feast day, a little late, by taking all our KS3 pupils to Mass at the Cathedral. For many pupils it was the first time they have visited this beautiful church. Thanks to Lancaster Cathedral and Fr. Miller

Recently we said a (semi) goodbye to Mrs Lofthouse who is (semi) retiring! She is stepping down from reception, but the pupils managed to persuade her to stay on doing a day in ARK and some lunch duties too. A huge thank you to Mary for all her hard work. Happy semi-retirement❤️

Today our whole school community joined together to remember all those lost in war and conflicts and to pray for peace. Thanks to Rev. Pendlebury, his playing made the service even more poignant.

Friday night was damp and cold. The group showed solidarity with the homeless and one other. They were inspired by Phil from LDHAS. When asked what he enjoyed most about working with the homeless he said “the laughter”. A good reminder that all need to be treated with dignity

We have raised over £3000 for our local homeless charity and collected items to make care packages for those who are street homeless. Our Caritas Ambassadors delivered the items, popped into Nazareth House and the Cathedral to round off the term. #AspireAchieveServe

Mr Teasdale raised £1012 for LDHAS by agreeing to have his head shaved live at break on the last day. We all think he rocks the bald look 🪒👨‍🦲and think he’s an amazing example of faith in action. #AspireAchieveServe

This week assemblies have celebrated the launch of the jubilee year and the launch of our house competition. Pope Francis is inviting us to renew our sense of hope by naming this Jubilee year, “Pilgrims of Hope.”

Hot Choc Friday today was for Year 8 pupils nominated for fabulous work in RE about the Corporal Works of Mercy. Great conversation about their understanding of how they can help build the Kingdom of God 😊 #AspireAchieveServe
