Confidence is key! We have had waves of positive feedback from this years ambassadors with a resounding growth in confidence. Sailing a 68ft yacht is not possible without becoming a team which in turn creates an atmosphere of support, thanks to the crew and ambassadors! #OIAO

The next step for our ambassadors will be the chance to represent #ourislesandoceans on a leg of the Clipper Round the World Race. As one of the biggest challenges of the natural world and a test of endurance like no other, teamwork is at the core of this feat. #teamwork

The #WestCoast of Scotland is well know for its wildlife and this programme was no exception - our ambassadors had the chance to see dolphins almost every week. They loved riding the bow and having a look at what everyone on board was up to! #OIAO #marinemammals #dolphins

Like Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates, when sailing you never really know what you are going to get! Some days call for a burning of the sails before the gusts overpower the yacht, and on others it’s easy cruising in the sunshine. Best to be prepared for all eventualities.

We're deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Her Majesty The Queen, a long-time friend to the maritime industry. HRH was a pillar of strength for the nation for 70+ years after ascending the throne at 25 - the median age of our ambassadors. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family.
