Osgoode is saddened to share the passing of Professor Emerita Shelley Gavigan. For more than 30 years, she shaped our community as a teacher, scholar, Associate Dean and leader in clinical legal education. Her contributions reflected and helped shape Osgoode’s core values.

Dean Trevor Farrow visited Iqaluit with the Action Committee on Access to Justice, hosted by the Law Society of Nunavut. He met with Elders, educators & justice leaders—listening, learning & reflecting on the importance of local knowledge and leadership.

This past weekend, Osgoode faculty members joined in celebrating the 90th birthday of Professor Emeritus Harry Arthurs—former Dean of Osgoode Hall Law School, President Emeritus of York University, and one of Canada’s most influential legal scholars.
