Twitter is so strange sometimes. This is at 30k likes and I got 5 followers from it. But tweets with 1k likes have brought in hundreds of followers. It’s interesting to see how content can blow up but not always funnel into people wanting more of it.

In order for foldable to become the standard, the closed device has to be as thin as non-folding phones are now. This is definitely hitting that.

IKEA is killing it in the smart home space. They are investing hard in the latest technologies and it shows. Of all my smart devices, the IKEA ones are the clear winners.

I am the reason your phone can autofill 2FA codes from your messages and emails. Messages, the intelligence teams, and SEAR collectively hated the idea, shooting it down unanimously. I fought for 2 years until getting the green light.

There are a ton of great teams at Apple that delivered this feature. Many of which I’m still great friends with today. This post was not to steal any limelight but I was the driving force behind getting it into play. Teams actively tried to get it killed every time I brought it

For me, the ideal foldable is a standard phone size that turns into a tablet. Vertical flips go from a phone to a smaller phone. I will say the Z flip 7 is a really clean looking device though. Kudos to the engineering teams that pulled it off.

I remember the MobileMe sales quotas in retail. It was such a painful service to sell. iCloud was a total game changer. The display was cool as hell too. Documents would animate between each of the devices to show how cloud syncing worked since it was somewhat of a new concept.

If you accidentally pick a floor in the elevators at Apple Park you can push the button again to deselect it. How do I know? I invented the elevator.

One of my biggest game changers in computer hygiene has been setting my downloads to go to my desktop. If it's short-lived, I delete it soon. If it's longer-running, it goes to a folder. 99% of the time my desktop is completely empty and it feels so nice.
