We had a great meeting on Thursday with reps from many TEIs, Keith from the National Ministry Development Team, and Ben from Clergy Support Trust, who gave an amazing presentation on what the Trust is doing to partner with the The Church of England and its clergy.

Perhaps some positive news for TEIs! But there is still a real struggle for some training for ordained ministry to make ends meet - there are some horrific stories, as well as stories of great generosity.

Today, we pray for all ordinands who have experienced or are experiencing trauma or loss during training. Lord, have mercy on those you are calling and bring them again to the fullness of life.

Today, we pray for all those who help others discern vocation - for vicars, DDOs, bishops, friends, and all others who come alongside those discerning. We particularly remember Anna Matthews, who helped so many discern their callings. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Lord, have mercy. We pray today for all clergy and ordinands who struggle with their mental health. Lord, bring help and wholeness and healing. Strengthen the structures of support and pour out your Holy Spirit. Christ, have mercy.
