New all-silica metasurfaces from INESC Microssistemas e Nanotecnologias and Instituto Superior Técnico achieve record high-aspect-ratio flat optics: bit.ly/4kOpr4D By etching patterns directly into fused-silica wafers, the team created pillars over 3mm tall but only a few hundred nanometers wide. #OPG_Optica
