In 2023, Zambia’s CPI score (Corruption Perceptions Index) increased for the first time in 10 years, from 33 in 2022 to 37 in 2023. The CPI measures countries’ perceptions of public sector corruption, assigning a score that ranges from 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).
