Beech class enjoyed their first session with West Essex's Mental Health Support Team. They became 'emotion explorers' and identified their own emotions using the zones of regulation. They're excited for next week's session already! 😀

Year 3 & 4 were incredible at the Shooters Competition this week! Team A even won Bronze! 🥉 Excellent sportsmanship shown by all. ⚽️🥳

Year 4 had a brilliant time at #forestschool this week! They built dens, created a bug hotel and even cooked marshmallows… wrapped up in their coats, of course 🌧️ 🐞 🦋🐛🐌🪱🐜🕷️

A lucky group of children won some of Wonka’s golden tickets and got to have hot chocolate and biscuits in the staff room with Mrs Evans, our headteacher! They even got whipped cream on their hot choc! Deeeeelicious ☕️🍪

Year 1s had a brilliant time this afternoon in D&T, rolling paper and building a structure to make Baby Bear’s chair 🐻

We were lucky to have a very interesting assembly this afternoon, delivered by Chelsea Football Club. Emphasising the importance of talking about our mental health!

At the weekend, some of the staff from HOPS attempted the Three Peaks Challenge in Yorkshire! Lots of sore legs and blisters, but soooo worth it! We have been raising money for Mind, a fantastic mental health charity for children. justgiving.com/page/h17113942…
