I’m having a hard time explaining this to people. Just because I can do something like the dishes or cook, doesn’t mean it won’t wipe me out. For them it’s nothing, for me it could cost me days. How do you explain that kind of energy disparity to people who don’t get it?

Today, someone went on a random angry rant claiming Jill Biden lied about being “a doctor”. I and another person tried to nicely explain physicians as one type of doctor. Tried to explain a PhD. I even used myself as an example. He was not having it. 🙃

Please stop recommending yoga or exercise to “cure” disabilities. First of all, exercise sometimes makes certain disabilities worse. Second, don’t you think if that worked, we would have done that already? Many disabled people do as much as they can. It’s not for lack of trying.
