We are thrilled to have received a grant of £14,230 from long-term funders, the Veterans’ Foundation, to support our programme in the North West. You can help change the lives of more veterans by playing their lottery via the link below. 👇 veteransfoundation.org.uk/lottery/join

Completing our programme of Winter Skills Days The Golf Groove, Drayton Park and LeedsGolfCentre. We have planned an exciting programme of confidence building activities this summer and can't wait to get started in the next couple of weeks. It's officially golf season.🙌🏌️♂️⛳️

Another fantastic effort from a Captains Charity, with Mark Ginns and Mandy Clarke from Hinckley Golf Club raising over £8,000 to support our confidence building programme. 🙌 A huge thanks to both and everyone associated with the club.

Wow. 😍 We started our residential programme at the incredible Trump Turnberry last week. 17 beneficiaries enjoyed two days in the sunshine, playing in near perfect conditions. Thank you to everyone at the resort who made this possible. 🤝

We are absolutely thrilled to have received funding from Invictus Games Foundation 💛🖤 to deliver another Golf Skills Training Week for the international wounded, injured and sick veteran community. The 2024 version was inspirational and we can't wait to meet the next cohort in October. ❤️

It was great to meet veterans undergoing treatment Combat Stress at Pachesham Golf last week. They took part in one of our 'taster' sessions, introducing them to golf and the opportunities available through continued involvement with OCF.

This week, our beneficiaries visited The Duke’s, St. Andrews for a 2-day Employment Insight, focusing on greenkeeping, golf operations and caddying. This included meeting up with Caddie School for Soldiers, and it was great to see the synergy of both organisations, with veterans helping veterans. 🙌

Something a bit different this week as we hosted an OCF 'Awareness Day' at the magnificent Woburn Golf Club. OCF beneficiaries joined representatives from golf clubs throughout the UK, including managers, committee members and vice-captains - sharing their recovery through golf story.

All roads lead to Royal St. George's Golf Club, as 40 beneficiaries competed in the first stage of Simpson Cup GB qualifying at the Forest of Arden yesterday. Congratulations and good luck to the 12 who qualified for the finals London Golf Club in August.

We returned to North Wales this week to deliver one of our 2-day Golf Skills and Employment Courses at Abergele Golf Club, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund Cymru. Here, OCF Coach Dai is working with beneficiary Steve - assessing, recording, discussing and then putting this into practice.
