The last morning before polling day and lots of positive responses on the doors in Bushey. It was lovely to stop off at the Garden Cafe at Reveley Lodge for a spot of tea and cake.

Finishing off the final evening of campaigning in Bushey with a great team! It really was a pleasure speaking to residents this evening on the doorsteps and out and about in the village. As polls open tomorrow at 7am, use your voice to vote for a proven strong local champion.

Horrified by the attack in Pennsylvania. In a democracy, you must be able to speak freely and stand for what you believe in. Violence and intimidation must never be allowed to prevail. My thoughts and prayers are with President Trump and the victims of this appalling attack.

Good luck to all the students in Hertsmere receiving results for their A Levels and vocational and technical qualifications this morning. I hope you all get the results you are looking for and I wish you all the very best with whatever you choose to do next.

Banning smoking outside would be the death knell for our pubs and a totally unjustified infringement on our liberties. Not what we want or need.

Very concerned by Labour government decision to suspend some arms export licences to Israel just days after six hostages murdered by Hamas. As MP for Hertsmere I will always support Israel’s right to self defence.
