Yes! Topography-based approaches to communication so often fail because they do not include what the person needs for THEIR communication. Function-based communication can determine far more useful preferred forms that can help a person truly express their needs/thoughts/opinions

We need to ensure all health initiatives such as the new menopause clinics, HPV vaccines, health screenings are inclusive. This requires systematically baking in inclusive practice from the start. Not as ad hoc measures and *only* as need presents. The need is *always* there.
