Thanks Olds College of Agriculture & Technology for giving us a campus tour this morning as part of our #CICan24 programme. Our attendees were beyond impressed by the many ways Olds is innovating the agricultural sector by integrating smart #AgTech and sustainability practices to safeguard food security.

Looking forward to #plant24 ! Our #OCSmartFarm crop research team was prepping the Three Hills Regional Variety Trials for the Alberta Pulse Growers with hopes of seeding this upcoming week!

The 2024 applied research projects are kicking off on the #OCSmartFarm ! The LI-COR chambers are being installed this week to monitor emissions during spring thaw in continuation of the 2023 research project. Stay up-to-date by visiting the project page: ow.ly/vWux50Rjn3Q

Lambing season is well under way and some of these faces are too sweet not to share🥹

So far approximately 160 lambs have been welcomed to the #OCSmartFarm and there are still 14 ewes left to lamb!
