It has been a great time serving as the Member of Youth Parliament for Oldham, and the communications officer at Oldham Youth Council, but regretably it's time to end my 2 year stint in these roles.

Lucy and Leah took our motion, asking that the free school meals threshold be increased, that HAF be continued and that HAF be universal for all, to the Oldham Council meeting. It was passed unanimously so UK Prime Minister will soon receive our letter.

The YCllrs who were part of this year's #ListentotheEarth project are collaborating with otwoldham members at our United People's Conference. As part of #HateCrimeAwarenessWeek, young people from across Oldham schools will be discussing prejudice and discrimination.
