It is fantastic to see pupils enjoying Wednesday afternoon sports sessions once again, with a variety of activities taking place across the site. Fixtures today included the Boys' 1st XI taking on TNS U18s, while the senior girls enjoyed a hockey training session on the astro.

Incredible news this morning, as Freddie O has been called up to the Ireland U19 side at the age of just 16. He will represent his country in a tri-series against England and Scotland at Loughborough, beginning next week. Congratulations!

A special day today, as Freddie makes his Ireland U19 debut against England at Loughborough this morning. He will keep wicket and bat in the 50 over One Day International. Aged just 16, this is a stunning achievement, and everyone at Shrewsbury is thrilled for him.

Congratulations to the OSH!

Freddie has represented the Ireland U19 side with distinction in the Tri-Series against England and Scotland. He finishes the tournament with 190 runs at an average of 47.5, with a highest score of 89. He also claimed 5 dismissals behind the stumps, aged just 16. Outstanding.

On Monday we welcomed four speakers to Shrewsbury to talk to pupils as part of our Medical Conference. The speakers, which included two Old Salopians, discussed their careers in medicine and offered advice to our pupils on their next steps. A very informative session for pupils.

Our girls 1st XI delivered a strong performance today, defeating Birkenhead in the national cup! Exceptional passing led to fantastic goals. Special recognition to our new pupils for settling in seamlessly and making a big impact.
