Juniors have taken a deep dive into learning all about the spine. Today they learned how to calculate the Cobb Angle of a patient with Scoliosis. This is a skill Orthopedic doctors use to determine a proper course of treatment. Olathe South HS 21stCenturyAcademies

This week the sophs hosted Mr. Tucker from Riddell Sports. He presented on the history/evolution of helmet design and they got to explore first-hand the internal structure of state-of-the-art helmets. A student even got 3D scanned for his own custom-fit helmet! Olathe South HS
