🌍Happy Earth Day from Okere City! 🌿
Today, as we celebrate our beautiful planet, we're reminded of our duty to protect it for future generations. At Okere City, we're committed to making a positive impact on the env't, and one way we're doing this is by planting shea trees.

Since 2019, we have been laying the foundation of sustainable progress in Okere, a village that once lay in the wreckages of war. Whether it is through health service delivery or ensuring financial inclusion, we are on a journey to build the first sustainable 'rural city'.

We had an exciting conversation with the #IthacaEcovillage , our sister village in the US. We explored broad themes around intentional communities, sustainable living & why North-South collaborations matter for building strong/resilient communities.
