She still referred to him as her fiancé, her husband to be. Even if she was made to believe that he was dead. Yet, there he was right in front of her, alive. A L I V E. She stepped closer to him and immediately placed a hand on his arm. A sharp gasp left her lips. “…. How?”

Her hand dropped to her side as she heeded his words. She backed away as she was trying everything in her power to wake up from what she perceived as a nightmare. “Why are you here now? To torture me?…”

Her body tensed a bit as she saw him coming towards her. She took a deep breath in and she slowly let it out. She felt a few tears streaming down her face. rhaena quickly wiped them away as she struggled to even breathe. She didn’t know what to say or do, she just stood there.

Hearing he has a daughter was something she wanted to experience with him, but knew she would never get to do so. She felt a lump in her throat and she sighs. “I’m sure she is…much like her father…”

She was quite surprised that he wanted her to meet his daughter. She looked down at her hands for a moment then she looked back at him. “Sure…”

Rhaena looked at the young girl. A slight tilt of her head caused her to wonder what exactly was said about her. A quick glance at Luke and she looked away. “I am.” She says. “I do hope that those stories were good ones.” She says as she looks at the young girl with a smile.

“Yes of course. My apologies.” rhaena says as she invites her to sit and brings her tea.

“Well, for a long time I didn’t have a dragon. Until, one day I was blessed with one.” Rhaena says as she looks at the young girl. “Would you like to see her?”
