May your evening be quiet and warm, with your favorite briar close at hand.

What would be your ideal pipe smoking spot? For me, it would have to be in a study or library in an old English home, or by the hearth of a fireplace in the same type of home.

Last week was chilly spring weather. Today it hits close to 90°’s. I know some people don’t smoke their pipe in the heat, but I’ll still stubbornly enjoy my briars in the middle of summer.

A Happy Friday my friends. Whatever your weekend plans are, I hope it’s accompanied by a cloud of pipe smoke.

I suppose most people would need a pipe after skinning a bear. Hopefully you all out there can enjoy one under better circumstances. Happy puffing.

OfPipesAndMen Ghosting “bear carcass” would be one aroma I would want nowhere near my pipes, but I can see how some would appreciate the gamey odor with a strong Cyprian Latakia mixed with some bright grassy Virginia.

Sit around for a spell and share some yarns. Porches and pipes? Classic combination.

The beautiful thing about smoking a pipe is that any space can become your own private sanctuary. Though some places require less effort in creating your sanctuary.

Hope you’re taking it easy this weekend. If you’re catching up on yard work, a pipe is a great companion to keep you company.
