#studenttakeover How's the winter weather been in Pécs? 🌨️❄️☃️ Winter has just begun, so it hasn't gotten too cold yet! So far the daily temperature is between 35-45 degrees (F 😁) I've been assured that it generally gets colder and snows later in the winter! 💰Sophie

#studenttakeover Let's talk about summer weather in Hungary! ☀️⛱️😎 One word to describe this past summer? HOT 🥵 Hungary's 2022 summer was the hottest in 121 years, a trend similar in most of Europe. In Pécs temperatures would consistently stay above 86 F! 🏊Sophie

#studenttakeover What are some cultural differences between the U.S. and Hungary? 🧊💶📆 My top ones are: 1) water is not free at restaurants and rarely has ice cubes and 2) few air conditioners, even in the dorms! 🧸Sophie

#studenttakeover Cultural differences b/w the US and Hungary: university edition! 1. Pécs is much more spread out across the city than universities in the US 2. Bookstores aren't really a thing like they are in the US 3. Printing office rather than self printing! 🐑Sophie
