Whenever a kid tells me they don’t like to read, I refuse to believe them. I tell myself they just haven’t found the right book yet. It’s up to us adults to make sure we have books (in our world and in our collections) for every kid, and to make sure every kid has access to them.

Today all Lalla Odom AVID Elementary 3rd and 4th graders were gifted a book by Dav Pilkey. Thank you to Scholastic and BookPeople📚 for making it happen! #dogman #kidlit

Free books!!? Yay!! This sweet boy was super excited to be taking home some free books to add to his at home library thanks to OdomESLibrary. He even carefully chose several for his little sister. Love my Lalla Odom AVID Elementary!
