When you take this into the Maternal space, screening gets crippled and remains suboptimal because of a lack of equipment and consumables... Can we have solar powered BP machines? I look forward to The PRONE Study and the NIHR SafeMotherhood.... Also, good to have women demand it

It is artificial to separate pregnancy, childbirth, and the 6 weeks after delivery as a discrete entitiy of life. They are determined by the many environmental, physical and socio-politial factors that start long before, and last long after, those few months peripartum.

WOW - 15-20% prevalence of stage 1 or stage 2 (ACA/AHA) hypertension in 18-24 year olds in Zimbabwe. Huge implications for dangerous pregnancy outcomes in what may already be a vulnerable group. These women are PRONE to several pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia
