Obedair are nearing the end of our 14-month long project at Le Petit Bois in Plymouth. 102 apartments have been refurbished with each one having a new kitchen, bathroom, electrical upgrade and flooring. We have also merged two apartments, to create an accessible apartment.

If you are local to Plymouth, you may have seen one of our more recent sites at the beautiful Grade II listed, St Jude’s Church. Obedair are sympathetically refurbishing the internal areas of the church, all while maintaining the church’s admirable, original architecture.

Not only are Obedair Construction busy preparing the new premises at Stonehouse Creek, on Tuesday eve. they prepared the food & served plymouthsouprun. There was plenty of food for everyone with extra for people at the last stop. A HUGE thank you to Obedair for ALL their help & support.

On Tuesday night, Obedair were again joined by Plym Bricklaying the plymouthsouprun . We prepared the soup, food and drinks for 80 people who require the amazing service plymouthsouprun provide. If you would like to donate supplies, or volunteer time, please get in contact.

Always good to have the support of local businesses. On Tuesday #PlymBricklaying joined Obedair Construction to prepare & serve on plymouthsouprun. A quieter night - 75 people served including the extra bags. There was plenty of food for everyone. Many 🙏 to both firms for their help.

Obedair had the pleasure of attending the Children’s Theatres formal opening ceremony at Derriford Hospital in May. After two years of hard work, the project has been handed over to the trust as a dedicated children’s surgical unit; One of only two in the country. #obedair

Obedair have been on-site at Plessey Semiconductors since October 2023 and have just a few months until project completion. The design and build project involves the removal and replacement of the perimeter cladding and external envelope to the south and west elevations.

Our project in the TLB at Derriford Hospital is nearing completion. The team have created a steel structure that is encapsulated with insulated cladding panels to form a new covered fire escape walkway. #obedair #obedairconstruction

We’re thrilled to begin work on a new refurbishment project at South Petherton Medical Centre in Somerset. Instructed by our new client, Primary Health Properties, we’ll be transforming the first-floor space to create brand-new, modern offices and larger carpark.🔨👷 #obedair

As well as World Mental Health Day, today is also World Homeless Day. At Obedair, we’re proud to volunteer a number of days each year with Plymouth Soup Run, serving people experiencing homelessness and other disadvantages.

Obedair are so proud to announce that we have been nominated by CCS for a "Excellence in Construction" Award. We are the ONLY contractor in the south west region to be included on the short list which is an amazing achievement in itself.

This March, we united to raise awareness and support for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. We hosted a Coffee Morning at our Marjons Wellbeing site, creating an open space to discuss men's health. All men in Obedair were provided with PSA testing kits 🩵

An exceptionally busy Tuesday with a dash to the shops for more supplies. The team from Obedair Construction & #SphereSolutions prepared for 80 but served 95 people. Even the soup had to be topped up! 3 sleeping bags given out. Thanks to both companies & Charlie Ede for all their support.
