#NDSUSeasonOpenerCountdown: #40: One of the great running backs in school history. Ranked 9th all-time in TD’s, single game record holder for yards(263). Member of the Bison coaching staff for ten years, now coaching with the Detroit Lions. Number 40, Coach Tyler Roehl.

#NDSUSeasonOpenerCountdown: #38: One of the all-time great linebackers in school history, played in 59 career games. A devastating hitter, he also had seven fumble recoveries, 5 interceptions and 10 sacks. 2nd year coaching with the Bison, number 38, Carlton Littlejohn.

Recently on the show; Dom Izzo selected his five #NDSU young football players that could break out in 2025. First up, number five is defensive end Kelton McCaslin; Kelton McCaslin.

Number three on Dom Izzo's top five #NDSU young players to break out in 2025 list is defensive tackle Keenan Wilson (Keenan Wilson). Wilson burst on the scene as a redshirt freshman last season and projects to be a starter as a sophomore this year.

#NDSUSeasonOpenerCountdown: #34: One of the great leaders in school history, a two-time team captain, who won 3 titles. Played in 55 career games and holds the school record for tackles in a game with 29. The defensive coordinator for the Bison, number 34, Grant Olson.
