Wow! What a way to finish the week. Year 5 were thrilled with a virtual visit from Tony Bradman today. A great chance to meet the author of the book that’s had them hanging on every word this term! #ExceptionalEducation He even had a copy of Mrs O’Connor’s favourite book 😍

Today is NSPCC number day! Team 3/4 have gone all out and there are numbers everywhere. Children are taking part in all sorts of number related challenges today across school from a stay and share session in nursery to a STEM workshop in KS2.

We’re really proud of Jaxon in Year 4 who has achieved his purple belt in kick-boxing. Displaying our habits of patience and self control, he successfully completed a 2 hour assessment at the weekend.

They’ve arrived! Now they need names and classes are busy with lots of suggestions. Not sure about Nuggets and Dippers though 😳

We have been presented with the Barclay’s equal access award for providing equal sporting opportunities for girls. Miss Beardsley collected the award for competing in the national Girls’ football day and running a year 5/6 football club in the Autumn Term. Get Ahead
