Head of School for the Day means leading very important meetings... about the benefits of getting a dog.

The MS is quiet this week as students embark by planes, buses, & boats to many destinations for their Hallmark Trips. These trips build confidence, self-awareness, empathy, & positive risk taking, while broadening students’ understanding of the PNW and beyond. 🚍🚢🛶⛵️✈️

Shopping for problems! Students created pictures of a fictional storefront and wrote math problems to match for their classmates to solve.

Gr. 5-8 students traveled over the past week to Costa Rica, Joshua Tree National Park, the Salish Sea, and the Olympic Peninsula. Welcome back! We can't wait to hear your stories and see how you have grown. We are grateful to our amazing teacher chaperones!

We were so excited to invite grandparents and special friends into our lower school classrooms today. Students shared projects they have been working on and held mini classes with specialist teachers from drama, science, Spanish, and PE. Thank you for joining us!

Thank you to our many guests for virtually joining middle school students today for Grandparents & Special Friends Day! Students gave campus tours, talked about projects and Hallmark Trips, and just enjoyed welcoming you all into their classrooms.

We invited our incoming families to join the community for Spring Arts Night which included student works displayed throughout campus, a peek into music, drumming, tape murals, field games, food, and the final Aristocats shows. Thank you for coming to celebrate the arts!

When traveling through the alphabet from A to Z, N is for Nature Day! Students took a hike on a nearby trail with Mr. McCullough to celebrate.

OWS students engage in Spanish-language learning throughout their K-8 experience. Four MS students earned the @globalbilitseal at the Functional Fluency level this year. Eleven 8th graders attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2023 @NSE_online. 🐾

Our rising middle school students just returned from their very first Hallmark Trip to IslandWood where they were in nature learning and connecting for the week. We are so excited to hear all about your adventures.

Foggy Field Day includes sack races, tag, push the tire, GaGa Ball, parkour, games, and cup stacking, and the traditional rainbow photo (on a cloudy day).
