Today I turned 28 YEARS OLD. Which means 12 YEARS AGO I was on Educating Yorkshire. Over the years, teachers have helped me to push forward in all things I doubted myself I could achieve. Teachers gave me more than an education - they gave me a future. I will forever be grateful.

Today’s training is a PGCE day, delivered by our partner, The University of Birmingham. We’ve been examining academic writing, criticality & engagement with literature. All of our trainees on the fee-paying route benefit from this postgraduate qualification in addition to QTS. 🎓

Our subject days for our trainee teachers are vital to our programme. Each week our trainees learn new skills which they apply back in their placement school, all in the same week. #teachertraining
