What an incredible first day for our OTT trainee teachers! They've hit the ground running with a jam-packed schedule, diving into their induction, completing essential training, and teaching their first lesson in groups. Our programme is deliberately immersive from day one!

Practising teaching in our ‘Preparedness To Teach’ week with yes, you guessed it, our brand trainee teacher cohort! Focused on backwards planning, the task was to prepare lessons on anything of choice. We had: contamination, biodiversity, sewing & how to win at ‘Guess Who!’

After spending today in their placement schools, we are so much looking forward to welcoming our Ormiston Teacher Training trainees back to the final day of National Institute of Teaching’s #Flyingstart week.
