📍 Amb. Rogov visited the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Interior 🇰🇿 to launch Kazakhstan’s first specialized training for human trafficking investigators. 🤝 He also met with the Acting Head of the Academy, Col. Yerlan Namysov, to discuss future co-operation.

📍On 12-14 Nov. the OSCE Programme Office in Astana in co-operation with the Ministry of Interior of 🇰🇿 and B. Beissenov Karaganda Academy conducted the first training event in the country for investigators assigned to human trafficking cases. 20 investigators from across 🇰🇿 joined the training.

📍30 officials 🇰🇿 took part in a 3-day OSCE training event in Shymkent on strengthening physical security for critical infrastructure. Participants reviewed terrorist attack methods and protection measures. The course supports national capacity-building under Project PROTECT.

📍On 24 Nov., in recognition of the recent World Children’s Day, the OSCE Programme Office in Astana and UNICEF Kazakhstan hosted a visit for children to learn about the activities of both organizations. The programme featured talks with the Heads of Dimensions and an introduction to our work in 🇰🇿.

On 25-26 Nov., Almaty 🍎 hosted a regional conference for 100+ people on preventing domestic violence and supporting aggressor rehabilitation, bringing together experts from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬, Uzbekistan 🇺🇿, and Tajikistan 🇹🇯.

🤝 On 26 Nov. in Almaty, Head of OSCE Programme Office in Astana, Amb. Rogov met with reps of Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) and Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction (CESDRR) to discuss ongoing initiatives and future cooperation in Central Asia.

📍Amb. Rogov met with 🇰🇿’s Prosecutor General Assylov. 🤝 In 2026, co-operation will focus on asset recovery, combating trafficking in human beings, development of “Safe City” concepts, counter narcotics, and cross-dimensional collaboration with the Law Enforcement Academy.

📌 On 28 November, we held our bi-annual Consultative Meeting jointly with the MFA Kazakhstan 🇰🇿. These meetings involve all key State partners, and aim to strengthen co-ordination of our joint vision for co-operation.
