π OSCE Programme Office in Astana & Kazakhstan π°πΏ partner to advance dialogue & facilitate sharing of expertise within the @osce region. Kazakhstanβs π°πΏ contribution is manifold. Just this summer, Ministry of Defence experts held a training for Turkmen πΉπ² colleagues on the Vienna Document 2011.
βοΈπ§Ά Winter is coming, and suddenly everything feels hand-knit β even our Office looks like itβs made of yarn. At the OSCE Programme Office in Astana we continue to weave security, co-operation, and dialogue into the everyday lives of people across Kazakhstan β one thread at a time.
πOn 12-14 Nov. the OSCE Programme Office in Astana in co-operation with the Ministry of Interior of π°πΏ and B. Beissenov Karaganda Academy conducted the first training event in the country for investigators assigned to human trafficking cases. 20 investigators from across π°πΏ joined the training.

πOn 24 Nov., in recognition of the recent World Childrenβs Day, the OSCE Programme Office in Astana and UNICEF Kazakhstan hosted a visit for children to learn about the activities of both organizations. The programme featured talks with the Heads of Dimensions and an introduction to our work in π°πΏ.

π€ On 26 Nov. in Almaty, Head of OSCE Programme Office in Astana, Amb. Rogov met with reps of Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) and Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction (CESDRR) to discuss ongoing initiatives and future cooperation in Central Asia.
π On 28 November, we held our bi-annual Consultative Meeting jointly with the MFA Kazakhstan π°πΏ. These meetings involve all key State partners, and aim to strengthen co-ordination of our joint vision for co-operation.
