In #Bhutan along the long drive from the airport to the capital #Thimphu the multiple villages and mountain communities with their traditional houses indicate the strong cultural traditions.

Staying at the unique #Pemako Hotel in #Thimphu where the hills and the mountains create a tranquility which is highlighted by the small temple where the welcoming ceremony takes place.

The Pemako Hotel is a splendid place to prepare for the ⁦World Bank⁩ conference on the economic development of small countries. Also discussions on #climate, #glaciers, #PolarDialogue and ⁦Arctic Circle⁩.
