Our Extended School Year wrapped up with a fun event at the Orleans Learning Center - a picnic! The students heard great music, played games and had some treats to celebrate! The students and staff loved seeing Superintendent Dr. Farrar & school attorney, Melissa Kester too.

Students at the Roy-Hart Learning Center had an ESY program filled with exciting activities. Students attended field trips to the Krull Park splashpad and Grand Island Lions Club Kids Picnic where a cookout was enjoyed, and students and staff participated in a boat ride.

Our CSIPD team did a great Instructional Best Practices workshop before school started. Over 70 educators from our learning centers participated. The team provided professional development on research-based strategies that can be used in any content area.

Our Cosmetology students at the Orleans Career and Technical Education Center are excited about starting their clinic October 2nd! The clinic is open to the public at 4232 Shelby Basin Road in Medina on Thursdays and Fridays when school is in session.

On 1/6/26 we will celebrate our 70th anniversary! For 7 decades we have created a legacy in our community thanks to students & staff. We are proud to have become a cornerstone of the Orleans & Niagara Counties, for those who have trusted us with their education.
