Stowe held a Lock-down drill today and students did an excellent job. Haltom City Police Department came out to observe and offer suggestions. They said our kids did incredible! HCPD also recently visited @ lunch to say hi to our Beavers. Safety is our 1st priority!!

Happy National School Psychologist Week to Heidi King! She was given the tiara today to honor her and the “Queen” or psychologists. She is the best!

Stowe 4th graders having a great time on field trip to Austin. They are visiting the State Capitol and the Texas History Museum it is a terrific day of fun and learning!

Today our 3rd-5th graded students enjoyed a presentation from Cowboys and Kids, a program that teaches students about the rodeo and ties a message of respect!

Stowe Battle of the Books team is competing against the other 20 BISD schools & doing a great job! Way to go Beavers!

Congrats to Mrs. King! She was selected by Stowe staff as the 2019 Stowe Teacher of the Year! Dr. Brown, BISD Superintendent, came to make the presentation! Mrs. King is an awesome 1st grade teacher! We are so thankful to have her @ Stowe!

Hope to see you at Stowe PTA Carnival tonight (3/21) from 5:30-8:00. Lots of fun and food! Tickets can be purchased at event (4 for a $). There will be Kona Ice for sale, a cake walk, and many fun events for kids! There will even be free fruits & vegetables!

Pre-K registration will take place in BISD next week. If you have an eligible student (see below) & live in Stowe's attendance zone please come April 1-5th from 8:30-3:00. We also are open Tuesday 4/2 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
