On my way to Warwick Chemistry to give a seminar on quantum magnetism in double perovskites. It’s so lovely to just go and talk about my research and meet great people instead of writing grants and paper revisions. Thanks to Senn Group and Struan Simpson for inviting me.

I finally managed to make a personal website: ottomustonen.com. It's quite spartan but hopefully has some useful information. Thanks to Thomas Hicken for the inspiration!
Come and work with us! We are currently recruiting a The Leverhulme Trust funded 2 year PDRA position in high pressure crystallography: warwick-careers.tal.net/vx/appcentre-e… co-supervised with Dr Nick Funnell ISIS Neutron and Muon Source and Sosso Group Warwick Chemistry Please RT!
I’m really excited to return to my alma mater Aalto University as a University Lecturer in Chemistry starting in July. This is a teaching-focused role with a research component. Looking forward to sharing the joys of chemistry with the next generation!
It’s my first week back at Aalto University after six years in the UK and I’m feeling nostalgic. So far I’ve discovered the following: my 2018 desktop and documents on my new laptop, my old poster is still up, and I found a box of copies of my dissertation!
