Argentina and the OECD Minister Mondino welcomed the Secretary General of the OECD ➡️ Better Policies for Better Lives, Mathias Cormann Mathias Cormann at the San Martin Palace, to kick off his visit and launch the process of interaction between the OECD and Argentina on the path to accession to the Organization
Minister Mondino headed the "Inter-Ministerial Coordination Commission" for accession to the OECD. Cabinet Ministers exchanged ideas with Secretary General Mathias Cormann and his team on Argentina's commitment to promote the necessary actions required in the accession process.
At a joint press conference, Secretary General Mathias Cormann concluded that “It is going to be a marathon, not a sprint. In order to succeed, it will be extremely important to have broad political support for Argentina’s aspiration to become a member of the OECD”.
