In the season opener on Saturday, Brooke Armbrust broke the ODU Track & Field/XC record for the 60 meter run - not once but twice! She clocked in at 7.61 seconds in the final after breaking it in the prelims (7.73 seconds)! #ClawsOut

Four meets into the XC season and one thing that has stuck out the most is the support. Individuals from sprints, throws & jumps have come out and supported the XC team at every race. Weโve also had alumni at every race!This is what I mean by family when I talk about ODU Track & Field/XC.

As her coach, I am proud of Aileen Castillo, who signed on to run with ODU Track & Field/XC . It is great to see past & present LOLHS XC teammates to come & support her. However, as her brother, Iโm proud of the young lady she has become & the future she holds. She truly is special ๐๐
