It was designed in the International Style by a team of architects, led by Desmond FitzGerald. Opened in 1940 during The Emergency/WW2, arguably the building didn't receive the recognition it deserved. But FitzGerald did win the RIAI Triennial Gold Medal for the design.

This project required the complete re-modelling of a city centre cluster of old shops, into contemporary apartments. The main challenge was getting as much light as possible into spaces and rooms that were challenging to rationalise. See more on Instagram
