TENDONS & LIGAMENTS are dark on all MRI sequences, with the 👉EXCEPTION of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) which shows a striated appearance due to thickness & orientation of its collagen bundles. Quadriceps & triceps tendons normally have longitudinal striations as well.

There're 2 different types of Achilles tendonitis: noninsertional & insertional. The former affects younger, active people & the latter occurs at any time, even to people who aren't active. Nonsurgical treatments recommended in most cases first. If fails or severe then surgery

The common extensor tendon refers to the tendon originating from lateral epicondyle of the elbow and the fibers of 5 muscles come together to form the common extensor tendon. The most frequent pathology of the common extensor tendon is lateral epicondylitis.
