It was lovely to welcome colleagues from Wakefield into the academy today with one of OGATs community executive principals, Mr Rutter. We welcomed leaders from Outwood Grange Academy Outwood Academy Freeston and Outwood Academy Hemsworth to walk lessons and talk oracy 💜

Y7 are having a fantastic time on their outdoor activity residential! Day 1 started with lighting fires, den building, zip lining and PGL games. 💜💜💜

We’re really looking forward to celebrating Pride with everyone tomorrow. 🌈 A reminder to bring spare kit if you’re taking part in the Rainbow Run. 🌈

Day 2 of Y7 residential: raft building, rope climbing and laser tag, followed by the silent disco.🪩 The way these students have moved out of their comfort zones and supported one another has made us very, very proud. 💜
