Since 2015, our SGBV program in southwest Uganda has supported over 1000 victims, offering medical, legal, and mental health services. One of our key initiatives in driving this mission forward is the Annual SGBV Walk.

Nyaka, in partnership with Beautiful World Canada Foundation and Global Affairs Canada is offering 140 girls a university and vocational education! 📚🌟Our scholarship covers tuition, a stipend, accommodation, and mentorship. 🎓💼 This tackles limited access to education, gender inequality, and poverty.

Every child has a right to an education.

We also know that when girls are able to complete their schooling, their risk of newly acquiring HIV is cut in half.

Yet thousands of girls across sub-Saharan Africa continue to face significant barriers to accessing their right.

We are grateful for the invaluable insights shared by our board member Deborah Malac (former US Ambassador to Uganda) during her visit to NVSS and Nyaka Programs. Her passion for our mission is truly inspiring. Together, we're making a difference! #NyakaSupporter
