Nursery children Parkwood Primary School Keighley have had a fantastic time cooking, exploring various ingredients and learning about different foods and food groups.

Nursery children enjoyed learning about Shrove Tuesday. They also made and tasted their own pancakes. Yummy!

Our school was visited by Bradford Hate Crime Alliance to talk to parents about how to safeguard their children online from radicalisation and hate crime.

Class 3D have had lots of fun in science today, we created our own rock cycle using sweets to show how the three types of rocks are formed. #ByronSTEM

Year 3 Parkwood Primary School Keighley visited Murton Park Murton Park and had a great day exploring the park and participating in the various activities.

Reception have been busy this week making their own candy houses. They decided to use melted chocolate to hold the house together and designed the roof for the house. Some children then made a motorbike to travel to Asda where they could buy extra ingredients!

On Monday Class 4P had fun participating in activities to celebrate National French Language Day. We enjoyed finding out some fun facts about Switzerland. Did you know that 29 countries use French as their National or official language?
