Boris Johnson told you leaving the EU would benefit the UK. He told you that he had a plan to "get Brexit done". He told you that he'd make you better off if you voted for him. Incredibly he's still trying to tell you things now.

The offence Connolly pled guilty to was made a crime in the Public Order Act 1986. Three court of appeal judges have confirmed that her sentence was not excessive. This hyperbole from an elected official is absurd and demonstrates that his judgement is lamentable.

"The sun is just about still shining across the UK and it's a bank holiday weekend. Tell your boss that Larry said you should be able to knock off early and enjoy yourself."

It's precisely five years today since Dominic Cummings gave a press conference in the Downing Street garden to explain why the rules didn't apply to him. What crazy days those were.

My thoughts are with everyone impacted by this horrific incident in Liverpool on a day of such joy. Thank you to the police officers, paramedics and rescue personnel who raced towards the danger to do whatever they could.
