@Rachel_Zales Carl followed closely behind, wanting to make sure the procedure went well.

@Rachel_Zales Carl folded his arms whenever the door shut in front of him, but he took a deep breath, knowing that she would be fine.

@Rachel_Zales Carl looked at the door, fear washing over him. "She's tough." He reminds himself.

@Rachel_Zales Carl nodded as he felt the tension leave his body. He eventually resolved to reading a book.

@Rachel_Zales "How did it go?" Carl eagerly asks Rachel as she stepped out. "Will you be okay?"

@Rachel_Zales "That's good." Carl smiled slightly at her. "I think my dad found some cans in the back, I can get you one if you want."

@Rachel_Zales "Be right back." The brunette tipped his hat to her foolishly and rushed into the back of the church.

@Rachel_Zales Carl came back a few minutes later, with a few cans cradled his arms. "Creamed corn." He said before handing her one.

@Rachel_Zales He offered her a warm smile. "You're welcome."

@Rachel_Zales "No. You're going need all you can get." Carl said, shaking his head slightly. "I have my own. Besides, I heard corn fixes--

@Rachel_Zales -- wounds." He stopped, chuckling for a moment. "Okay..maybe not. But it can't hurt."

@Rachel_Zales Carl peeled away the metal cover, digging a spoon into his own can.
