Under the MCMC Act, it's stated clearly in Section 3(3) that nothing under the Act shall be construed as permitting the censorship of the internet. Fahmi Fadzil 🇲🇾 and MCMC are making policy directives which are not aligned with the purpose of the legislation.

If I was a scammer at <xyz>.com and it got blocked, it costs <$10 to create <xyz1>.com and be back online in minutes. The only ones adversely impacted by a DNS block are **legit** sites - who are unwilling to move to a different domain. Illegal biz aren't afraid of DNS bans.

Information doesn’t suddenly become false because it’s not aligned with your version of things. Also, public criticism isn’t misinformation.
