On Tuesday the Susequehanna-1 #nuclear reactor in #Pennsylvania was manually scrammed at full power after the main transformer experienced a cooling loss. The reactor is still down today. Should be a warning to Amazon about the reliability of this plant to power its data center.

They are still a long way from actually approving operation of the reactor.

On Saturday the Turkey Point-3 #nuclear plant in #Florida scrammed at full power after a turbine control system failure. Not to worry, apparently no jellyfish involved. Otherwise I'd wonder if we were under attack.

Yesterday the troubled Davis-Besse #nuclear plant in #Ohio began a forced shutdown from full power after a failure of steam generator water level instrumentation. Davis-Besse is on my "Terrible Thirteen" list.
