Mentally tough athletes make no excuses. No matter what adversity they’re faced with, they find a way to overcome it and get the job done.

The weight room does a lot more than just build your body. It builds strong character & mental toughness. It strengthens weaknesses & reveals assertiveness. It shows who has drive & who fakes it. Through grit, it reveals who’ll quit & who won’t. Ultimately, it creates leaders!

If you cheat a workout, you’re only cheating yourself. If you take shortcuts, you’ll pay the consequences eventually. But if you respect your craft and do things the right way, even when no one is watching, you’ll be rewarded with great results.

If you only work hard when you feel motivated, you’ll never be consistent enough to reach your biggest goals. To succeed in life, you need to have the discipline to work hard even when you don’t feel like it.

The best athletes are intrinsically motivated. They don’t just work hard because they have to. They work hard because they want to!
