Anything more than just an off-hand comment from Rob Demovsky about how the Packers love him as a center? We’ve known this since he was drafted so it hardly seems notable.

“The script” would tell you the Packers will draft an elite athlete, 22 years or younger, at a position of need.

But you never know with Gute.

Very athletic player, came from a non-NFL offensive system at Wazzu and wasn't ready.

Played 261 snaps at left tackle for Philly in 2021 and 2022 and gave up just one QB sack and one QB hit. He's a pass protector.

Was not very good in Tennessee's system last year.

I like the Andre Dillard signing a lot.

No risk, all upside. Gives you experienced OT depth and some wiggle room if you don’t have a chance to draft an OT early next week.

Signing Andre Dillard certainly doesn’t keep the Packers from drafting an OT early, but now that they have some starting experience on the bench they aren’t as boxed into it.

Andre Dillard hasn’t been great but there’s talent there and at least he has some starting experience.

At minimum he provides the Packers with some much needed experienced OT depth.
