.Cee never thought he’d see the day where we got to select the fruits for a Milkshark, not to mention see the BAOS logo on the label. Milkshark is still the only beer we’ve ever lined up for, so to have contributed to the history of this epic moment in craft beer is wild.

We decided to do three Pavlova beers for our anniversary drops - Mortalis Smoothie Sour, L’Espace Public Lactose Sour and Bellwoods Milkshake IPA. 🥛 We rocked with Vanilla, Pineapple, Strawberry, Passionfruit and Blueberry, and of course lactose, to recreate the Aussie dessert.

It comes in at 7% and pours like murky blueberry juice with a foamy head and a juicy, berry nose, it’s so thick and creamy with the lactose, blueberry and strawberry leading the charge, it’s sweet, tart and chalky with that signature Milkshark vibe, it’s super sticky and silky...

...a touch bitter and pithy, super tropical, wrapping in a juicy, berry finish. Incredible. Still can’t believe this is real. 🦈 Thank you for ALL the support in 2025, from our 10th anniversary sold out festival to being in the top 10% of video podcasts globally on Spotify...

One of our fave local finds from 2025 was Hamilton/St. Catharines-based Nomxd. Helmed by brewer Erick, their flagship is a killer Dark Lager, Dusk Till Dawn. Coming in at 5%, it pours a wicked dark brown with a beige, foamy head and a roasty, chocolatey nose...

...the body is creamy yet crisp with tons of balanced roasted malt, light cold brew bitterness and a great dustiness, it’s so clean, it’s so damn crushable with a dry, toasty, chocolate finish. Genuinely fantastic - find it from Hamilton to Niagara. 🍻 📷: Cee

Last winter, we spent a solid 6 weeks and change in Florida, exploring everything the Sunshine State has to offer. We were based in Fort Lauderdale for most of that time, and one brewery we discovered that we really loved was Orchestrated Minds Brewing.

Nestled in the Dorsey Riverbend/City View neighbourhood, it’s a cozy garage space packed w/ locals who all knew each other. We had great chats with the bartenders + owner/brewer Davy (who kept calling us “Toronto” when we saw him at the Laser Wolf anniversary party, we loved it).

The beers were impeccable. We tried their Neons & Nightcaps Pilsner, C’mon Kaa DIPA, Legends Taking Over IPA and Red Eye To London ESB. Phenomenal stuff, can’t wait to get back. 🌴 📷: LiquidxHappiness 🍷

Dania Beach’s 3 Sons Brewing Co. is one of our (if not the) fave breweries in South Florida. We swung by a few times last winter - we happened to be served by Founder Corey’s father, who was such a champion. The food is extremely well executed, with higher tier offerings than...

...you’d typically find on a brewery menu, and the beer is genuinely spectacular. Their crispies, haze and fruited sours are killer, but arguably they shine brightest with their barrel-aged stouts and barleywines. God tier stuff, folks. 📷: LiquidxHappiness 🍷

We spent a day in Delray Beach, FL last winter, soaking up the rays, the water and the vibes on poppin’ Atlantic Avenue. Of course, we had to hit the brewery in town, SaltWater Brewery, right on the main strip. It’s cozy and welcoming with pub-like vibes, and a huge patio...

...where you can get some of that glorious Florida sun. We got into their Oktoberfest and Mexican Lager - both were crispy, malty, balanced and crushable af. Get that in ya. 🍺 📷: LiquidxHappiness 🍷

Our favourite seaside town in South Florida was Pompano Beach (the beach is flawless), and after enjoying the splendours of the Atlantic Ocean, we swung by Pompano Beach Brewing Company for a few pints. Sitting in a quiet plaza, the brewery is warm and welcoming, with tons of couches...

...and comfy seating. The beer list was wide and varied, and we went with their Purple Bliss sour with raspberry, blackberry and vanilla, and Chrysalis NEIPA. Barrington enjoyed his time, too. 📷: LiquidxHappiness 🍷
