Year 3 had a fantastic time on their first residential last week. They packed a great deal into their two days at Eaton Vale and had a brilliant time together as a year group! Some of their favourite activities included the cave bus, canoeing, climbing, enjoying a yummy BBQ 🙌

Congratulations to Chloe (Year 9) and Bethany (Year 13) who took part in the British Riding Club's Intermediate Winter Showjumping Championships in Lincolnshire this weekend. Their team came second, a brilliant achievement! 👏

Yesterday our Music Scholars performed in the beautiful surroundings of the Octagon Chapel. We were thrilled to be asked back to this special venue once again as part of their 2024 concert series and to be collecting donations for BenjaminFoundation. Well done to everyone who performed!

Year 10 Geographers recently visited the Peak District to investigate how the River Dane’s width, depth and velocity changes downstream from the source. The group had a lot of fun collecting their measurements, despite the mixed weather!

A big thank you to the NHSA for our shiny new scooters!

Today was the perfect day to enjoy them outside and the girls had a lot of fun racing around 🛴

We now have a rota in place so that all year groups will get the opportunity to enjoy using them at lunchtime.

We can't wait to celebrate this year's sporting achievements at the Sports Awards Dinner on 14th June 🏆️

The evening will also include an address from @KatieCox14, Chelsea FC Women U19 goalkeeper and London Lions basketball player ⚽️🏀

Our Sixth Form team were thrilled to walk away with the teamwork award at yesterday's GirlsDaySchoolTrust LEAD final at LSE. They pitched their sustainable business idea, Smoothie Cycle, to a panel of judges and were commended for their excellent teamwork and innovative approach 👏

It’s been great to see so many wonderful musical performances this week at NorwichHighPrep, from the youngest to the oldest pupils!

Thank you to Year 12 student Miranda who joined the Classics Lunchtime Symposium last Friday to present her talk on classical references in pop culture. Staff and students enjoyed listening to how films and modern architecture have been influenced by Greek mythology and culture.

Well done to our Year 9 students for completing their first The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award training walk on Saturday around Reepham! They completed around 10k, practising their navigational skills and demonstrating great team work. Despite the chilly conditions they showed positive spirit and resilience.

Years 3 and 4 used nature weaving to create some beautiful plates to celebrate #EarthDay2024 in Forest School. They also carried out a litter pick and talked about the this year's global theme for Earth Day: #reducereuserecycle EARTHDAY.ORG #NorwichHighSchoolforGirls

It was brilliant to welcome 10 local football teams to take part in our Prep Football Tournament today. How fantastic to see 100 girls playing to such a competitive standard! Well done to Taverham Junior School who won the gold cup and Falcon Junior School who won the silver cup.

Our Year 12 Gold The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award participants headed to the Peak District over the Easter break to complete a 3 day practice expedition. The group faced some challenging conditions, but they remained upbeat and even made it to the top of the highest peak, Kinder Low. Well done everyone! 👏

It was great to get the cricket season underway Swardeston CC again with the Under 12 and 13s. All the hard work in our indoor nets sessions during the spring term is coming to fruition #welovecricket 🏏
