Northmen won a wild one in walk off over Fort Osage last night 12-11 in 8 innings. Jack Salyer was in the middle of it driving in the winnings runs and having a pair of hits. He also earned the win on the mound. Anderson Dial had a good night going 3-4 w/ 2 2B’s and 4 RBIs.

OP knocks off St. Joe Central 3-0 behind a dominant outing from Cole Wells. He went 6.1 innings with 9 K’s allowing just 4 hits. Anderson Dial picked up the save. Dial led the offense with a pair of hits and an RBI. Alex Chester added a hit and an RBI as well. 1-0 in conference!

Northmen pick up a HUGE road win tonight over Liberty 5-4 in 9 innings. Ricky Allen delivered a go ahead singled in the 9th. Brody Vaughn followed with a RBI single. Anderson Dial was nails in relief giving up just one hit in 2.2 innings and picking up the win. 2-0 in conference!

OP picked up a road conference win over St. Joe Central last night winning 8-6 thanks to big 4th inning. Kirby Super drove in 3 runs. David Austin picked up two hits while Brody Vaughn scored 3 times. Ryan Oberly earned the win on the mound, and Anderson Dial picked up the save.

Congratulations to Sophomore Allen for earning All-Conference Honorable Mention Utility/DH. Allen was a big part of the middle of our order for most the year. He led our team with a .430 OBP, behind 24 hits and 18 walks. Excited for his next two years with us!

Congratulations to Senior Ryan Oberly for earning All-Conference Honorable Mention Infielder. After missing some time due to injury, Oberly still had a team-high .294 AVG and was second on our team with a .775 OPS. He finished the year with 20 hits.

Congratulations to Senior Alex Chester for earning All-Conference Honorable Mention Infielder. Chester had a .767 OPS thanks to a team-high 4 triples and 22 walks. He also drove in a team-high 18 runs, and had 9 stolen bases. He will continue his playing career at Mineral Area.

Congratulations to Senior David Austin for earning All-Conference 2nd Team Catcher. Austin played in all 34 games and hit .291 and a .715 OPS. He led our team with 30 hits and added 15 RBIs as well. Austin will continue his career at Central Methodist.

Congratulations to Senior Kirby Super for earning All-Conference 2nd Team Outfielder. Super held down CF for most of the year, and played in all 34 games. He led our team in runs (21), triples (4), and stolen bases (10). He racked up 29 hits with a .274 AVG, and a .754 OPS.

Congratulations to Senior Anderson Dial for earning All-Conference 2nd Team Outfielder. Dial was a staple in the middle of our order finishing with a team-high .790 OPS. He also led the team in RBIs (18), 2Bs (9), and BBs (23). Dial will continue his playing career at Clarke.

Congratulations to Junior Cole Wells for earning All-Conference 1st Team Pitcher. Wells was dominant this season leading the entire conference with 69 K’s and 57.1 innings pitched. He led our team with a 2.56 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. Excited for this young man’s future!
